Dr. Snehal Patel is a distinguished interventional and structural cardiologist, dedicated to providing innovative and compassionate care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. As the Director of Structural Heart Interventions at HCA Clear Lake and the founder of Houston Heart Care, Dr. Patel has built a practice with a core mission to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care with compassion, integrity, and empathy.

With expertise in cutting-edge procedures such as TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement), PFO closure, Watchman procedures, and complex coronary and peripheral arterial and venous interventions, Dr. Patel is committed to offering the most advanced, minimally invasive options for improving heart and vascular health.

Dr. Patel’s training journey is extensive and distinguished:

• Internal Medicine Residency: Lenox Hill Hospital in New York.
• Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship: Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Chicago.
• Advanced Heart Failure and Heart Transplant Fellowship: University of Michigan Medical Center, one of the nation’s top institutions for cardiovascular care.
• Interventional Cardiology and Structural Heart Interventions Training: Vanderbilt University, renowned for its innovations in cardiovascular medicine.

A strong advocate for patient-centered care, Dr. Patel uses the latest advancements in medical technology to provide minimally invasive treatments that improve patient outcomes and quality of life. Dr. Patel is also actively involved in clinical research, seeking new approaches to treating complex cardiovascular conditions.

In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Patel serves as the associate program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at HCA Clear Lake, where he mentors and guide the next generation of medical professionals.

Dr. Patel’s patient-first approach, combined with ongoing involvement in clinical research, ensures that individuals receive the best possible care and outcomes in a supportive and understanding environment.

Dr. Patel practices at both HCA Clear Lake and HCA Mainland, and holds privileges at Houston Methodist Clear Lake, Memorial Hermann Southeast, Kindred Hospital Clear Lake, Vibra Healthcare Clear Lake and PAM Health Clear Lake, allowing him to provide care across multiple healthcare institutions in the area.

Outside of work, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with family, traveling and contributing to community health initiatives.
